Office Manager

I started working at Dickens Real Estate in 2006 after our third son was born, in the accounts and data entry department.

  I had previously worked in the hospitality trade as a qualified Chef, appointed Catering Manager and worked in the Border region in large tourism-based clubs, eventually my path led to Bright in the Motel industry. I then moved to the reception desk I found myself dealing firsthand with customers and pointing them in the right direction.  I enjoyed this facet of the business as I have an ability to get on with people and find that it is a strength of mine which comes naturally.  I have also spent time in the Property Management area and the Holiday Rental section of the business.  Currently I am involved in the day to day running of Dickens Real Estate.  I have attained my full Real Estate license, and I am excited to be part of the team working in the Bright office, as co-owner with my husband Gerard Gray.

I am involved with several committees in the Bright community which evolves from me wanting to be part of what my three boys are doing, mostly in the sporting field and most recently have taken up a post as a committee member on the Community led Bushfire Recovery Committee for the Alpine Shire.

 I have completed  an 8 month Women in Sport in Leadership Roles with Sport North East and also  a Governance Foundations course for Not For Profit Directors with the Australian Institute of Company directors to be able to better manage committees in my voluntary roles.

I love being involved in our Community and I would like to instill that sense of giving back in our children.
