Gerard Gray
Officer in-effective control & Sales Manager
How do you know what you really “want” to be when you are growing up? I was born and raised in the Riverina of NSW on a small farm between Finley and Jerilderie. We grew tomatoes, fattened Hereford cattle, had a dairy, 3 piggeries and grew numerous crops and pastures. In my teenage years we grew liquorice for a large Japanese pharmaceutical company, not the liquorice you’re thinking of by the way, but the second most used herbal medicine in the eastern world. Like all farmers sons I had to get a trade and became a Boilermaker/Welder first class, travelled Australia with my wonderful wife Kellie and settled in Bright in 1999.
Funny how life presents you with opportunities along the way, some you grab some you pass up. When asked if I might be interested in “Real Estate” in 2003 and would I be keen to join the Dickens team I jumped at it and have not looked back.
My wife Kellie & I bought in to the business at the end of 2004 and as of 1 July 2019 became the sole owners. I am a passionate person by nature and am sure that this comes across to all of our valued clients. I love what we do, what we are about and where we live. I am so lucky to have a wife & 3 sons who support my passion without question and I thank them for joining me on this fabulous journey.
